The Photo   

​Based on a true story, "The Photo" details a chance encounter between a travelling photographer and an elderly gentleman, their endearing chat ends with a photographic exchange making present that which is absent from the photo.

On March 17, 2020, the Ontario government mandated the closure of all bars and restaurants, facilities providing indoor recreational programs, public libraries, private schools, licensed child care centres, movie cinemas and theatres, and concert venues.
On March 23, 2020, the Ontario government expanded the declaration to order the closure of all businesses and organizations except those deemed as “essential workplaces”.
On March 28, 2020, the Ontario government prohibits public events and social gatherings of more than five people.
On March 30, 2020, the Ontario government closed all communal or shared, public or private, outdoor recreational amenities everywhere in Ontario.
March 23, 2020, The City of Peterborough declared a state of emergency due to COVID-19. Soon after, virtually everything is shut down, including schools.
Like much of the world, Peterborough becomes a ghost town.
